Debra Bloomfield has long made repeated sojourns to the desert and mountains of the Southwest, and her photographs of the Four Corners region reveal intersections beyond just that of invisible state boundaries. It is a place where the spiritual and secular meet, where diverse cultures have come into contact over the course of hundreds of years, and Bloomfield's photographs evoke corresponding senses of history, transformation, and spirituality.
