Lynn Geesaman, Gardenscapes
With introduction, essay, and interview by Verlyn Klinkenbord

An inaugural collection of Lynn Geesaman's work in color, Gardenscapes offers luminous images of finely landscaped gardens and parks, and bucolic rural scenes. Imbued with Geesaman's pictorialist sensibility, the photographs dissolve into dreamy landscapes; a thick, atmospheric light and deeply saturated color suppress all detail, lending a supernatural quality to the scenery. The artist's comments accompany plates throughout the book, providing anecdotes and insights to individual photographs. An interview with Geesaman and essays by Klinkenbord further illuminate the creative process.
